Upgrade of Bankard MF1 Executive/Presidential to the New Bankard MasterCard Executive/Presidential
Your New Bankard MasterCard is meant to replace your local Bankard MF1 in our effort to continuously provide you with better card payment services. All outstanding balance and incoming transactions from your old Bankard MF1 will be transferred to your New Bankard MasterCard account.
With your New Bankard MasterCard, you will enjoy world-class card features such as the following:
Your APD is refundable anytime in the form of a check or fund transfer to your RCBC or Equitable-PCIBank account. The refund can be processed 24 hours from receipt of request. The peso points earned, however, cannot be refunded but is applied as payment to your credit purchases. For more details, please call 634-6644.
C. What are the important changes in my account that I need to remember? We tried to make the card upgrade as simple as possible to make it easier for you. To give you a bird's-eye view, here are the basic information that you need to know:
D. What happens if I already have a Bankard MasterCard? You can maintain both cards and this means you can enjoy two separate credit limits! That is simply having an extended cash flow that will allow you to live the kind of lifestyle you deserve without fear of using up your available limit.
We encourage you to start using your New Bankard MasterCard as soon as you receive it. For added security, please cut your old Bankard MF1 as well as any extension/supplementary card/s (if any) you may own before disposing them.
F. Will my Bankard MF1 extension/supplementary cardholder/s be given the New Bankard MasterCard as well? Yes. Your extension/supplementary cardholder/s will also enjoy the international card payment acceptance of the New Bankard MasterCard. Should you wish to extend your credit privileges to other family members who are at least 13 years old and above, you may still apply for an additional extension/supplementary card/s. Just call 634-6644 to request for an Extension/Supplementary Card Application Form.
G. Now that my card is already internationally accepted, will I be billed for higher membership fees? Absolutely NO change in membership fees! Existing Membership Fees* apply, as follows: Bankard MasterCard Executive
*subject to change upon prior notice
No. Your card membership history (tenure/renewal month) remains the same. We are merely replacing your card but your renewal fees will be billed the same time that your Bankard MF1 gets billed.
I. Will my statement date and payment due date remain the same? Your current statement date will still be the same. Payment due date is 21 days after.
No. After the upgrade of your Bankard MF1 to the New Bankard MasterCard, our system will automatically generate the New Bankard MasterCard SOA reflecting the outstanding balance transferred from your old Bankard MF1. Any incoming transactions (billings and payments) using your Bankard MF1 will also be posted to your New Bankard MasterCard account. Hence, you will only receive one consolidated SOA.
As soon as you receive your New Bankard MasterCard SOA reflecting the transfer of balance from your Bankard MF1 account, please use your New Bankard MasterCard SOA in settling your Full/PEP amount due. Meantime, you may still use your Bankard MF1 SOA in paying your bills until you receive your New Bankard MasterCard SOA - just visit any RCBC or Equitable PCIBank branch nationwide.
The upgrade of your card will not in any way affect your APD. As stated earlier, you will receive a new SOA reflecting all outstanding balance, billings and payments transferred from your old Bankard MF1 account. Your APD will continue to earn the applicable peso points based on prevailing interest rate.
YES.
